Nate Aden is a Research Fellow with the World Resources Institute’s Climate and Energy Program and a PhD student with the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley. Nate’s research is focused on industrial energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. and China. In 2013 Nate published a WRI report entitled “Energy Efficiency in U.S. Manufacturing: The Case of Midwest Pulp and Paper Mills.” Beyond industry, Nate researches the role of innovation in climate change mitigation, policy approaches to distributed generation, and the energy and climate impacts of international trade.
