As OurEnergyPolicy.org’s (OEP) Energy Policy Intern, Samuel Beirne manages the resource library, the events calendar, and social media campaigns. Samuel came to OEP after previous internships with the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI), the U.S. House of Representatives, and National Defense University (NDU). He has a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in American History from Syracuse University. Samuel is a native of Baltimore, MD and lacks a natural zeal for sports but is compelled to cheer for both the Orioles and the Ravens none the less. Outside of work, Samuel enjoys brewing his own beer and exploring the District's best food scenes.
