Description (excerpt):

This National Renewable Energy Action Plan provides details on a set of measures that would enable the UK to meet its 2020 target. The 2009 Renewable Energy Directive sets a target for the UK to achieve 15% of its energy consumption from renewable sources by 2020. The UK renewables policy framework is made up of three key components: financial support for renewables; unblocking barriers to delivery; and developing emerging technologies.
