Description (excerpt):
After four years of negotiations, nations succeeded in forging a global, legally binding agreement to address climate change when they convened in Paris for the 21st Conference of the Parties to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, or UNFCCC. “I am proud of my generation, of your generation, which has been able to decide to act for a world that we will not see,” said French President François Hollande during the conference’s closing session.
