Andrew Zach is Professional Staff for the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology’sEnergy and Environment Subcommittee. Mr. Zach’s portfolio encompasses all Department of Energy research and development programs. His duties entail serving as lead staff for relevant committee hearings, tracking DOE affiliated legislative activities, and conducting pertinent oversight activities. Prior to his current position, Mr. Zach worked for Ranking Member Sensenbrenner on the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming. Mr. Zach was previously a member of Rep. Sensenbrenner’s personal staff. Mr. Zach graduated from the Professional MBA program at George Washington University, with a concentration in strategic management and public policy. He also earned a Bachelors of Arts in History and Political Science from Butler University in Indianapolis.
