Garrett Golding is an analyst with The Rapidan Group, an energy market and political risk consulting firm based in Bethesda, Maryland. Prior to joining TRG in 2012, Mr. Golding spent six years working at the Energy and Commerce Committee in the US House of Representatives. As a Professional Staff Member, Mr. Golding was the policy advisor for upstream and midstream oil and natural gas, energy markets, and global energy security issues. In 2011 he was selected for a fellowship with the Partnership for a Secure America, a nonprofit organization that advances bipartisan thinking on national security and foreign policy challenges. He currently serves as a council member at-large with the US Association for Energy Economics - National Capital Area Chapter. Originally from Dallas, Texas, he earned his BA in Political Science at Baylor University and his MA in National Security and Strategic Studies at the US Naval War College.
