Sam Wolfe has worked at the intersection of energy and the environment for over twenty years, as an environmental regulator, as an energy regulator, and working on behalf of conventional and green energy companies. As Viridity Energy's Vice President, Law & Public Policy, Sam advocates before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and regional grid operators, to create a regulatory environment in which electricity consumers have open access to wholesale power market opportunities. He has also served as the Chief Counsel for the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, which regulates electric, gas, and other utilities in the state; oversaw the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Divisions of Water Quality, Air Quality, and Environmental Safety and Health as the DEP’s Assistant Commissioner; and served as Environmental Policy Manager at PSEG.
