Bud DeFlaviis serves as the Director of Government Affairs for the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association. His primary task is to support the organization's mission to promote fuel cell and hydrogen technologies with federal, state, and local policymakers. rnrnPrior to joining FCHEA, Bud was Account Manager and Communications Director for The Keelen Group, LLC, a full-service lobbying firm specializing in strategic public policy and legislative planning. rnrnHe also served as the Executive Director for the Sustainable Buildings Industry Council, a non-profit organization that promoted high-performance commercial and residential buildings. During his tenure, he focused on project development and execution, fundraising, policy advocacy, and communications.

Mr. DeFlaviis began working in Washington in 2001 as a Press Secretary for a senior Member of Congress. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University.
