Areas of Expertise:

I've been in the earth science realm for four years now, three of which I've spent researching and working within the geothermal sphere. Beyond geothermal, anything within earth science related to energy development of primary energy sources are points of focus in my studies. More broadly though, my interests also pertain to the tectonic evolution of our planet and to the structural evolution of extensionally- and contractionally- deformed continental crust, especially the Basin and Range province, Western Anatolia Extended Terrane, and Himalayan orogeny.

To study these points, I utilize mapping based field work, in conjunction with multiple techniques, including construction of balanced cross-sections, integration of geochemical, geophysical, geochronologic, and well datasets. Furthermore, I utilize map- and outcrop-scale structural analyses to illustrate deformation geometry and kinematics.rnrnI have field experience in various geological settings throughout much of the American West, including the Colorado Plateau Province, Basin and Range Province, and western Snake River Plain, and in western Turkey (Western Anatolia Extended Terrane) and northeast India (Himalayan Orogeny).
