Rachel is currently a researcher in the Materials Science Division at Lawrence Berkeley Lab with a focus on synthesizing and testing p-type transparent conducting materials for solar cells. She received her B.S. in Physics from UCLA in 2013. At UCLA she directed the Clean Energy Campaign through E3, UCLA's sustainability club. Through this position she founded Ecochella, a concert powered entirely by students on bicycle generators, in order to educate students about unconventional uses of renewable energy.
