Jeffrey Eppink is president of Enegis, LLC, which he founded as a result of a management buy-out from a leading energy consulting firm. He has over 43 years of consulting, technical, and analytical experience in a variety of energy projects, topics and issues worldwide. Mr. Eppink directs and conducts strategic, analytical and technical work in oil and gas, carbon capture and storage, geothermal, biomass, wind and solar.

Mr. Eppink has worked as an explorationist for Chevron Overseas Petroleum on projects around the globe in assignments ranging from field work in the mountains of Papua New Guinea to sophisticated geological, geophysical and geochemical analyses. He subsequently has been engaged in scores of consulting projects ranging from technical and economic assessments of over 70 unconventional plays for natural gas in North America to country-wide assessment of sources for the application of CO2 in enhanced oil recovery. He is proficient at designing, building and exercising robust techno-economic analytic models that critically address client issues, having conducted numerous private and public sector analyses. Mr. Eppink has worked on projects from over 35 countries in North and South America, Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia and the Middle East. He has given numerous presentations and testimony to senior industry executives, Department Secretaries, Congress and the White House on energy topics. He has performed advisement services for numerous major oil and gas producers (Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, and others), NOCs (Saudi Aramco , Pemex, Kuwait Oil Company, PDVSA and others) and independents. He earned an MBA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Science in applied geophysics from the University of Southern California. He graduated cum laude from California Polytechnic with a Bachelor’s of Science in geology.
