Clayton Handleman is an engineer and entrepreneur in the renewable energy industry. His work includes development of the alpha prototype of the SunSine300™ AC module, one of the first grid interactive, fully module integrated inverters in the industry. Later he founded Heliotronics, Inc. which provides interactive renewable energy data displays for education, PV system operations and maintenance and revenue and REC monitoring. Heliotronics’ focus is now on using renewable energy data to inspire the next generation of renewable energy innovators. This is done through the SolarLearningLab™ web portal. Clayton holds several patents in inverter design. Clayton served as the vice chairman of the Solar Energy Business Association of New England. He has served on boards of a variety of local and regional renewable energy organizations. He enjoys doing presentations on renewable energy and renewable energy technology to lay and professional audiences.
In a prior life Clayton was a defense R&D engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratories. He holds an MS in Physics from Purdue University and a BA in Physics from Washington University
