Amy Davis, Government Relations, Novozymes

Amy Davis is the Manager of North America Government Relations for Novozymes, a global enzyme and microbe developer and manufacturer, based in Washington, DC. In this capacity Amy handles federal and state legislative action, regulatory affairs, association and coalition building and policy development in the areas of biomass, bioag, biopharma, tax, appropriations, trade, manufacturing and chemical regulation. She has over 10 years of experience in government relations and policy. Prior to joining Novozymes in 2010, Amy was a member of the policy team in the Industrial and Environmental Section of the Biotechnology Industry Organization for six years. Additional experience includes the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Bain & Company and the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality.

Amy’s professional goals include being able to utilize her public affairs expertise combined with her passion for agriculture, science and advocacy to enable and assist her community to develop and administer successful and economically sustainable policy initiatives. She has a history of developing policy priorities and implementing action plans that have led to success.
