Executive Director of the Environmental and Energy Study Institute, an independent non-profit policy organization founded by a bipartisan Congressional caucus over 30 years ago. EESI provides policymaker organization through its Congressional briefing/workshop series, newsletters, and other publications; establishes broad-based networks; and seeks to develop and advance commonsense policy solutions to major energy/environmental problems. Prior to joining EESI, Ms. Werner's experience included serving as the Legislative Director for the Northeast-Midwest Congressional Caucus, the Legislative Representative for the National Consumer Law Center, and as legislative assistant to a senior House member.
