Edward Dunlea is a Senior Program Officer at the National Academy of Sciences with the Board of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate. Previous projects with NAS have included studies on "Climate Intervention," "the Abrupt Impacts of Climate Change," and "A National Strategy for Advancing Climate Modeling." Previous to the NRC, Dr. Dunlea served as the Atmospheric Chemistry Program Manager in the Climate Program Office in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He also held post-doctoral research scientist positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Colorado. He is an author or co-author on more than 30 journal articles in laboratory and field research in atmospheric chemistry. He holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University (1994, cum laude in Chemistry) and Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2002, in Physical Atmospheric Chemistry).
