Jonathan is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Auburn University. His work focuses on state and local energy and environmental policy, with a particular emphasis on policy outcomes and public management. His most recent work addresses the intergovernmental implications (economic, environmental and quality of life) and concerns when it comes to urban/suburban natural gas extraction. His work has been published in Review of Policy Research, Local Environment and Environmental Management. Prior to CSU, he graduated from the University of Kansas with a Masters in Public Administration and worked as a research associate for the League of Kansas Municipalities. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and political science from Morningside College.
