His research focus is on agriculture and trade policy with recent work on biofuels, food waste and agricultural trade reform and the Doha Development Agenda, especially the impact of subsidies and protection on developing countries. His book on the price impacts of biofuels on food commodity prices has just been published (https://sites.google.com/a/cornell.edu/the-economics-of-biofuel-policies/). He is currently working on his second book entitled “The Social Costs and Benefits of Biofuel Policies”.
