Joanne Ivancic, serves as Executive Director of Advanced Biofuels USA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting understanding, development, acceptance, and use of advanced biofuels. Joanne graduated from George Washington University National Law Center and for many years worked on improving health care access and quality; including as investigative counsel for Senator Charles Grassley under his chairmanship of the Senate Special Committee on Aging. For more than 20 years she has been following the development of advanced biofuels research and financing and is one of the founders of Advanced Biofuels USA.rnAdvanced Biofuels USA, a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational organization was created in April 2008 to fill a gap in public understanding and perception about biofuels, to emphasize the potential of truly renewable sustainable advanced biofuels, and to advocate for advanced biofuels as an energy security, economic development, military flexibility and climate change/pollution control solution. rnFrom 2010 through 2015 voted one of the Top 100 People in the Advanced Bioeconomy by Biofuels Digest.
