Bob Gray is a 25-year veteran of the energy industry. Having started his career in the traditional refined products space, Mr. Gray’s career path led him into the petro-chemical and renewable energy industries and he has held leadership positions in each. In 2003 Mr. Gray started Indigo Fuel Technologies, an ongoing company with a focus on chemical sales and consulting in both the traditional product and renewable energy markets. Mr. Gray is particularly attracted to new and emerging energy opportunities, technologies or products.

After graduating from Wittenberg University, Mr. Gray started his energy career with a regional refined products supplier of wholesale and branded fuels in the Midwest. Mr. Gray’s professional experience has included working for industry leading companies such as: ValvTect Petroleum Products, a national distributor of petro-chemicals. Innospec, Inc., a global specialty chemicals manufacturer. World Energy LLC, a national and global pioneer in the biodiesel industry. And Mansfield Oil, the largest company of its kind in North America with expertise spanning nearly all channels of transportation fuels and energy services. In addition to Innovative Biofuels, Mr. Gray’s main focus with Indigo Fuel Technologies is uncovering opportunities in and around renewable energy. Mr. Gray is closely working on several production projects that include a unique new facilities model in combination with proven production processes, and a new concept focused on multi product bio-refineries.

Mr. Gray’s unique and broad experience has included working from refiner to end-user and has encompassed sales, sales management, operations and logistics, product development and formulation, new business development with both existing products and new market entries, and establishing new business directives and operations for both start up and mature companies.

Mr. Gray’s involvement in the energy industry includes such groups as Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA), Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC), National Biodiesel Board (NBB), American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), and Ohio Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (OPMCA), among others.
