Christopher is the Research Assistant for the U.S. Climate Initiative. He works to support WRI’s work in the United States. This includes the U.S. Climate Initiative, U.S. China Track II Dialogue on Energy, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development, and WRI Business Center’s work with U.S. companies. He also provides coordination, scheduling, and research support for Sam Adams (Director of U.S. Climate Initiative), and Andrew Light (Distinguished Senior Fellow coordinating the U.S. China Track II dialogue).

Prior to joining WRI, Christopher served as Special Advisor to H.E. Ambassador Stuart Beck at the Mission of Palau to the United Nations, advising on the intersection of new technologies and foreign policy. He also coordinated multi-stakeholder meetings with the United Nations, the Office of the President of Palau, State University of New York, and other parties. Before his work in Palau he worked with refugees in Mae La refugee camp in collaboration with Borderline and Puzzlebox in Mae Sot Thailand, advocating for refugee use of e-commerce as a way of obtaining a livable income.

Christopher has a B.A. in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

Christopher is an avid proponent of cycling, traveling, and exploring.
