Mr. Glazer is a registered professional mechanical engineer with many years of experience. His specialties include the use of building simulation software, analysis of utility rates and tracking building energy codes. He performs comparative energy and economic analyses of commercial building heating and cooling systems using building simulation programs. Mr. Glazer has authored software to evaluate complex utility rates, manage large scale parametric analyses, translate between different energy simulation languages and to estimate energy savings opportunities in industrial facilities. He has developed a software screening tool for the USDOE to allow analysis and evaluation of integrated building cooling heating power (BCHP) systems. Mr. Glazer developed many of the utilities that come with EnergyPlus including EP-Launch and IDF Editor.
