George is the editor for CRU’s cobalt, lithium and battery metal market services. George’s main analytical responsibilities involve looking at battery metal demand and pricing, and he is also responsible for CRU’s long-term automotive and electric vehicle forecasts.rnrnFollowing completion of his Masters in Materials Science from Oxford University, George began his career in commodities working in pricing analysis and forecasting in the sulphur industry. From there he moved into the minor metals trading sector, specialising in nickel-cobalt superalloys, alloying additions and rare earth elements. George has experience working with minor metals in the USA and the UK, and his scientific background and electrochemistry knowledge has been of particular benefit in modelling long-term battery metal demand.
