Jesse is a professional geologist passionate about creating environmentally sustainable domestic supply chains of critical minerals in the United States to help secure and support the future of American green-energy technology in the 21st century. Mr. Edmondson was with Alabama Graphite Corp. since the company’s inception and helped establish their 42,000-acre mineral right package, directed all exploration activities, and built the largest 43-101 indicated flake graphite resource in the US. In addition to his role as Project Geologist, Mr. Edmondson also served as Director of Business Development and Director of Community and Government Relations for Alabama Graphite. He has established strategic relationships with community stakeholders, state-level officials, over 10 US Representative’s offices, over 20 US Senate Offices, various federal agencies include the Defense Logistics Agency, US Geological Survey, Department of Energy, and various national research labs, and the most relevant battery and battery-materials companies in the US and around the world. Since leaving Alabama Graphite, Jesse has consulted for various clients, including a major DC-based defense intelligence company. In 2019, he founded US Critical Minerals and in less than six months of its inception completed an organic arms-length transaction with a $25M market cap Australian graphite exploration and development company for a new graphite project that he developed in Alabama. He currently serves as the chair of the Critical Minerals Committee for the Energy Minerals division of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and is an advisory board member to the Ancient Bald Cypress Consortium.
