Tammy Klein is a strategic adviser to global automotive and oil industry clients, as well as governments on fuels policy issues, with 20 years experience on conventional fuels, biofuels and alternative fuels policy and market issues. She has advised many companies, governments and NGOs on fuels and transport issues, including the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association (IPIECA), the Western Governor’s Association (Alternative Transportation Fuels for the Future Advisory Committee), United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN-ECLAC), among others. Klein holds a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, with an emphasis on international environmental law. She was a board member of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. She holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida. She is a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia bars and American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM).
