PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS & THE ENERGY TRANSITION

January 13, 2021

Partnerships between cities, utilities, and other stakeholder groups can facilitate greater communication that enables each to accomplish their goals, including decarbonization and grid resiliency. In Colorado, a partnership between the City and County of Denver and Xcel Energy is helping Denver meet its 80×50 Climate Action Plan goals. The Energy Trust of Oregon has worked for years with municipalities, utilities, and other energy stakeholders, lending their expertise to help these entities achieve their energy goals.
