About the Presenter: Richard Campbell is a Specialist in Energy Policy for the Congressional Research Service, where he focuses on issues related to the electric power sector and energy technologies. Mr. Campbell has written on cybersecurity and the grid for CRS and has testified on the topic before the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Previously, Mr. Campbell was a Senior Advisor to the Energy and Climate Change consulting group of the Baker & Daniels law firm. He also served as Director, Federal Government Relations in Washington D.C. for the PPL Corporation, an energy company with power plants and energy marketing operations in the U.S. and internationally. His past experience includes positions as Director of Energy Policy & Technology for the American Forest & Paper Association, and as a Program Officer with the National Research Council where he managed studies on U.S. Department of Energy strategies to meet future needs for power generation. He also managed consulting engagements with Standard & Poor’s DRI, and Deloitte & Touche’s Utilities group. Mr. Campbell holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Electrical and Civil Engineering, and a Masters degree in Business Administration. He is a licensed Professional Engineer.
