The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) has been contracted by the U. S. Department of Labor to serve as an Industry Intermediary to support the expansion of Registered Apprenticeships in the clean energy industry. Attendees will learn how apprenticeships are helping employers develop a skilled and diverse workforce while providing clear career advancement pathways for workers. Through the Apprenticeships in Clean Energy (ACE) Network, IREC and our partner organizations are conducting outreach and education, delivering no-cost technical assistance, and providing limited financial assistance to help clean energy employers, training providers, and other stakeholders navigate the apprenticeship system and implement apprenticeship training programs.
