Bipartisan Policy Center – EIA’s Annual Energy Outlook 2022 Release
On March 3, the U.S. Energy Information Administration will release its 2022 Annual Energy Outlook at a virtual public event hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center. EIA releases its Annual Energy Outlook each year to provide updated projections of U.S. energy markets.
The event will feature a presentation by EIA Acting & Deputy Administrator Stephen Nalley and EIA Assistant Administrator for Energy Analysis Angelina LaRose, followed by a Q&A discussion with a panel of EIA experts.
The Annual Energy Outlook provides modeled projections of domestic energy markets through 2050, including cases with different assumptions about macroeconomic growth, world oil prices, and technological progress. The EIA, the statistical and analytical agency within the Department of Energy, is the nation’s most authoritative source of data, forecasts, and analysis of the U.S. energy market.
