California Clean Energy Procurement Summit
As California has moved aggressively to create a legislative and policy framework for a carbon-neutral future, the state represents massive opportunities, both near- and medium-term, for development of new resources for clean energy production. The Golden State’s need to find clean energy to decarbonize not only its power, but additionally its transportation, industrial and building sectors, makes understanding legislative, regulatory and LSE policies, plans and procurement initiatives essential for development organizations.
The California Clean Energy Procurement Summit continues its successful tradition of bringing together energy procurement decision makers and market stakeholders, –including CCAs, Munis, POUs, IOUs and more –to share their plans for upcoming procurements and participate in discussions about how renewables, transmission & Interconnection, storage, transportation electrification, and natural gas fit into their strategies for meeting California’s clean energy goals.
