Community of Practice for Equitable Charging Access
Low-income renters often face the highest costs for EV charging due to limited access and reliance on public charging, creating significant barriers to equitable EV adoption. This webinar will explore an innovative initiative to develop, pilot, and scale business models that provide discounted public charging access for income-qualified EV drivers. Hosted by the Smart Electric Power Alliance and GRID Alternatives, the session will outline the project’s vision to create replicable solutions in partnership with utilities, stakeholders, and community-based organizations. Attendees will learn about the upcoming Communities of Practice and opportunities to collaborate on advancing equitable and affordable EV charging infrastructure.
