Wilson Center – Energy Technology Innovation and Japan-U.S. Decarbonization Cooperation
The geopolitics of energy security have taken on greater urgency in recent months following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, the longer-term need to diversify energy resources and develop clean energy technologies has only intensified, given growing evidence of the destruction caused by climate change. Join us for a discussion on the challenges and opportunities of balancing the need for growth and sustainability, and prospects for cooperation between Tokyo and Washington in developing new energy technology in the Indo-Pacific.
