EPRI – Sustainable Energy Research Summit

The Sustainable Energy Research Summit will begin at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, November 2nd, and ends at 4:00 PM that evening. A pre-summit reception is available to all guests from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm the evening of Tuesday, November 1st.

This second annual Summit will explore pressing issues around sustainability performance of energy companies, which could include:

  • – Sustainable Energy – The evolution of sustainability has brought to the forefront complex supply chain challenges and opportunities; the Summit will bring perspectives on this topic including in the areas of circular economies, human rights, and resilience.
  • – Sustainable Infrastructure – Decarbonization strategies are shaping resource planning including the retirement of generating assets; the Summit will present findings from research assessing the local economic impacts of retirements.
  • – Sustainable Communities – Equity and energy affordability are critical considerations in the energy transition and necessitate partnerships with community organizations; the Summit will provide an opportunity for engagement between industry stakeholders on recent research results and evolving efforts.

 

There is no fee to attend the Summit. This event is supported by EPRI’s Sustainability program.
