Friends Committee on National Legislation: Thursdays with Friends: The Climate Crisis and Racism

The latest IPCC Report is essentially “code red” for the planet. The science is clear: Humans are unequivocally warming the atmosphere, ocean, and land, and the impacts of that warming are already being felt across the globe. In this crisis, communities of color will be the most affected. The movement for environmental justice seeks to right this imbalance and ensure that every person has the right to an equal degree of protection from environmental and health hazards in the communities where they live, work, and play.

Join FCNL’s Legislative Director for Sustainable Energy and Environment Clarence Edwards to learn more about how we are working with partners for a world where everyone’s potential can be fulfilled.
