ICF – Effective Policy Approaches for EV Charger Deployment

President Biden set a goal for installing 500,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations by 2030. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act passed by Congress last November authorizes $7.5 billion to support installation of electric vehicle service equipment, such as EV chargers.

To provide objective insight to government leaders responsible for leveraging these funds, we worked with The Fuels Institute’s Electric Vehicle Council to analyze the efficacy of programs and policies aimed at supporting the installation of EV charging infrastructure.

In this live webinar, John Eichberger, Executive Director of The Fuels Institute, will join us to discuss:

  • Lessons learned from past EV policies, incentives, laws, regulations, and programs
  • Which policies and programs were statistically associated with the broader EV charging market development?
  • What elements are most and least supportive of EV charging market development according to key stakeholders?
