Northwest Hydroelectric Association Annual Conference 2025

The Northwest Hydroelectric Association invites its members and attendees to join us February 24-26, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Seattle for our 44th Annual Conference.

NWHA is excited to announce the 2025 Annual Conference which continues to be the leading event in the industry to foster industry connections, engage with colleagues, and learn about the state of the hydropower industry in the Northwest. The theme of the 2025 will be We Are Hydro. NWHA is bringing vintage to the new era this year! Each session and discussion will be tailored to the Northwest to advance hydropower, share knowledge, create connections to make us stronger within the region. With 80% of U.S. hydropower coming from the Northwest, this is a great forum to gain insights from the premier utilities and providers keeping the lights on. The event features content for owners, operators, suppliers, new entrants to our industry, and sage professionals the chance to connect, learn and engage.

New in 2025 is double the educational content! We will be having concurrent sessions throughout the event which allows NWHA to provide more technical content, natural resources, and legislative/regulatory updates across the 2.5-day event. In addition, there will be 10 formal networking opportunities, a small hydro workshop preceding the conference, two evening receptions, committee meetings for niches within our industry, a women in hydro luncheon, a special event for new hydropower entrants, a career fair in partnership with the Hydropower Foundation, and career development opportunities. We have curated content into four focus areas and ensured that there is content for new professionals, sage experts, and regional topics topical to everyone working in the Northwest.
