NREL – SLOPE Solar Equity Layers Release Webinar

NREL’s State and Local Planning for Energy (SLOPE) platform was developed in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy to support data-driven state and local energy and decarbonization planning. This month, NREL is releasing six new data layers for the SLOPE platform to help community energy planners dive deeper into their local energy context. These layers highlight the potential for low-to-moderate income (LMI) households to participate in the solar economy; showcases energy affordability, demographic data, and Disadvantaged Community (DAC) status; and introduces SLOPE’s first dataset focused on resiliency. In this webinar, the SLOPE team will review the new layers and demonstrate their uses. This webinar includes a live Q&A session.
