Panelists will share takeaways from their place-based research on energy justice and clean energy development, including how such research can inform state and national policy-making. Panelists will then reflect on the theoretical frameworks and methodological tools used in their place-based research, as well as the unique and important role of Minority Serving-Institutions (MSIs) in advancing such research. Finally, panelists will describe their research design strategies for ensuring that their research processes and results serve and benefit the communities they are engaging.
