The Inflation Reduction Act and the Department of Interior’s investment in offshore wind have supercharged project development and domestic supply chains. Yet, every breakthrough has been diminished by a gridlock of industry pressures. At this critical inflection point, the challenges are clear: Permit-to-project processes must be fast-tracked; Turbine and grid technology must grow and modernize; Governmental support and financing methods must be clarified.
