The RTC is launching its first Community Benefits Handbook! Join us for a presentation led by our staff and our main consultants, Sustain Our Future Foundation and WSP, followed by a panel discussion with RTC Members and members of our Community Benefits Advisory Board.

This handbook will help RTC Members and Solutions Providers strengthen their sustainability and decarbonization practices by integrating a community benefits approach to portfolio and project planning and implementation. A community benefits approach is key to derisking investments in renewable energy and decarbonization technologies, improving project outcomes through better due diligence, and garnering enhanced support from diverse stakeholders and government entities. This approach helps secure a path for the delivery of social, economic, and environmental co-benefits to local and disadvantaged communities. This handbook will guide companies in meeting community benefits requirements tied to tax incentives, federal grant programs, state policies, and local ordinances.
