The Committee on A Research Strategy for Ocean Carbon Dioxide Removal and Sequestration will be releasing their report entitled A Research Strategy for Ocean Carbon Dioxide Removal and Sequestration on December 8, 2021. A public report release webinar will also be held from 11 AM to 12 PM ET on December 8, 2021. The report provides a path forward for research and development needed to assess the viability of promising ocean-based CDR approaches.
