University of Chicago – Clean Energy for All: Ali Zaidi on Climate Action

Between the record-breaking temperatures, extreme weather, and unprecedented natural disasters, 2022 was another devastating year in facing the consequences of climate change. President Biden has advanced an ambitious climate agenda through the Inflation Reduction Act, including more than $370 billion to address climate change, the largest single investment of resources ever made to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy is honored to welcome Ali Zaidi, National Climate Advisor, for a fireside chat with Dean Katherine Baicker to discuss the Biden Administration’s strategies to address the climate crisis.
