In order to set America on the path towards meaningful job creation and long-term economic growth and wean ourselves of our dependence on foreign energy, SEEC feels that it is of the highest priority that any comprehensive energy legislation include reductions in greenhouse gas emissions necessary to spur private investment in American clean energy technologies, and is consistent with reduction targets in House-passed legislation.
