Biden Administration Announces Standards to make EV
Charging Stations Accessible |
The Biden administration proposed new standards for its program to install a network of half a million EV charging stations by 2030. Biden officials said the proposal will help create the foundation for states to expand charging station projects that are accessible to all. The standards will ensure a connected network of chargers will similar payment options, pricing information, and charging speeds. The rule mandates real time information on station pricing and location to better allow driver trip planning. |
