Mr. Berger is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sunnova Energy Corporation, a firm that offers a long-term, low-cost electricity option to homeowners. Mr. Berger has more than 18 years in the power industry. Prior to Sunnova, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of SunCap Financial and Standard Renewable Energy (“SRE”). SunCap was a leading residential solar service provider, and SRE was a leading provider of renewable energy and energy efficiency products and services to residential, commercial, and government customers.

He also co-founded and served as Managing Partner for a venture capital firm focused on renewable energy and energy technology companies. Mr. Berger began his career at Enron Corporation as an analyst and also served as an advisor to the Federal Regulatory Commission.

Mr. Berger graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
