Description (excerpt):

Several trends have defined the energy sector in 2015, including the formation of NY REV, the rapid growth in residential solar and the continued disruption of the traditional utility business model. With all of this year’s innovation and activity, it’s clear that transformation will only increase in the coming year.

How utilities will ramp up efforts to offer ancillary services. Recognizing the future is bigger than selling electrons, traditional energy providers will act more like services companies. The role data and analytics will play in turning the tide on largely tapped EE programs. LEDs are reaching saturation levels, and traditional behavioral programs are reaching their potential. How can we drive more results? Solar grows up and will compete with fossil fuel without subsidy. Solar is becoming more cost effective and widely adopted, but improvements around marketing and engagement are needed to reach its full potential.

Others…From the role regulations will play in driving change, to community energy models and the impact of solar+storage, we will cover lots of need-to-know topics. Regulated utilities and energy retailers alike must find new ways to engage and offer compelling services to today’s tech-immersed consumer. This webinar will provide practical steps for staying ahead of this rapidly transforming market.
