Rick Gowdy, Director of Corporate Relations, manages the Alliance’s Associates Program where he engages current and prospective members with program, communications and event opportunities. He joined the Alliance in January 2012.

Prior to the Alliance, Rick spent 15 years with an organization of state legislators, first as director of telecommunications and information technology, and later as deputy director of membership and development. As deputy director, Rick recruited and engaged state legislators and representatives from the private sector in public policy programs and events. Rick has also worked in government relations and grass roots organizing for a trade association and two Washington, D.C.-based consulting firms.
