Bri-Mathias Hodge is a senior engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory working in the Transmission and Grid Integration Group. He has a Ph.D. from Purdue University, a M.S. from Abo Akademi, and a B.Sc. from Carnegie Mellon University. He has worked on a wide variety of projects in the renewables integration domain, including: wind power forecasting and resource assessment, solar power forecasting, renewable integration costs, the impacts of distributed wind on distribution and transmission level operations, the value of wind power forecasting, reserves for sub-hourly solar power variability, stochastic unit commitment, and residential demand response.
